Rebecca has been caring for children for over 10 years. She has

My experience with
Kids: I've mainly worked in informal environmental education
settings with children at organizations like the Cabrillo Marine
Aquarium, Heal the Bay, and the Orange County Department of Education.
Not to mention I have a niece and nephew, and soon to be an auntie
again!
My talents and hobbies are: I love to backpack, kayak,
hike, surf. Practically anything outdoors.I also am a computer geek and
love to design web pages and other graphic art adventures.
My favorite babysitting activities are: teaching about marine
animals. All my books are either marine related or Dr. Seuss. If
circumstances allow it, I always check for the low tide and take the
children down to the beach to look at the tide pools and play in the
sand.
What I am most proud of: My family. We are all very
different, yet very accomplished and determined people. We always strive
for the best and stick together.
Volunteer work I have engaged in: I started off working at
the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium as a volunteer. I helped feed the fish, led
tours through the aquarium and helped out in the education department
that I eventually became staff in.
What would people be surprised to know about me?: I love to
knit and I'm the youngest of five in my family.
